The Southwestern Sun Fundraiser Gala
The Southwestern College Sun newspaper will host its annual Celebration of The Sun on Friday May 13 at the Southwestern College Student Union East. The event is being held to raise money for America’s No. 1 ranked student newspaper and to recognize outstanding alumni journalist and first amendment advocates.
Celebration of The Sun kicks off with a 5pm open house in the campus newsroom in building 640. Doors open at 6pm for the gala. Tickets are $75. Student tickets are $50. Table of 10 may be purchased for $500.
There will also be a silent action to help raise funds for the student newspaper
