NAHJ 40th Anniversary Orgullo y Éxito: Celebrating 40 years of Legacy and Leadership

It was a wonderful celebration in Hollywood this past week, in California the state where the National Association of Hispanic Journalists was founded in 1984. The past was celebrated with a founders breakfast also acknowledging original members of the California Chicano News Media Association who made the merger happen so long ago.  We honor them and thank them for paving the way for so many.

Throughout the conference it was all about rekindling friendships and making new acquaintances. We must continue to pay it forward for those generations who will follow. We walked away better at our craft, attending dozens of workshops and panels in English and Spanish.

Here is a glimpse of our chapter, San Diego-Tijuana’s members making memories and building our own legacy.
