Board elections for our San Diego chapter are being held in September.  Our chapter is on a roll and we really need committed officers to keep the great work going. NAHJ San Diego-Tijuana Chapter elections are right around the corner. This is an exciting moment for someone like YOU to join the chapter board and bring innovative ideas to keep the chapter thriving.

The national NAHJ Membership Services will begin accepting nominations now through June 15 for candidates to serve in the following positions:

1. President

2. Vice President

3. Treasurer

4. Secretary

Make sure you’re a member in good standing, which means your dues must be up-to-date now. Need to renew? Visit the NAHJ Membership Portal.

All the officer candidates must collect 5 nominations from NAHJ chapter members in good standing. Only Regular, Academic, Lifetime members with a regular membership type are eligible to sign and vote for all positions.

You will help set the tone for the chapter. Next year we must hold our annual scholarship banquet which we did not do this year. We have raised some funds and we need to ensure that we mentor and encourage the next generation of journalists.
