Gracias for coming!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Meet and Greet Mixer on August 15 at NOVO Brazilian Brewery.  We added new members and raised $755 for scholarships. It was especially wonderful to see such a mix of periodistas who work in front of the camera or hold a byline along with so many production folks and videographers. A special shout out to managers like Senior Editor Lora Cicalo from The San Diego Union-Tribune, News Director Rich Goldner from Fox5/KUSI-TV, and News Director Sarah Cowan from KGTV who took the time to stop by and engage with job seekers.

A giant thank you to our events committee: Susana Franco, Geneva Gamez, and Suzy Garcia for helping us secure some fabulous raffle prizes to help us raise money.
