Scholarship Awards and Fundraising Fiesta
Join us for our chapter’s first scholarship awards event and fundraising fiesta!
What:
- There will be Mexican food from Super Cocina and homemade aguas de jamaica & horchata
- Guest speaker Hugo Balta, Senior Director of Hispanic Initiatives at ESPN
- Newsroom tour of NBC 7 and Telemundo 20 San Diego
- Network with journalist and meet on-air broadcasters
- Scholarship winners and San Diego-Tijuan chapter member of the year award
- Win prizes via our Loteria game (it’s kind of like bingo only better!)

When: March 3, 2-5 p.m.

Cost: $20 for students, $25 for NAHJ members, $30 for non-members
