This Saturday afternoon is our November field trip and discussion.

We  will be hosting Michele Parente, Dining and Lifestyle Reporter from the Union Tribune and Michael Gardiner, food writer for City Beat. 

Join us for a casual discussion over tacos (of course) with these writers and learn about the ins and outs of covering lifestyle stories on both sides of the border.

Tijuana journalists will also join our group to network!

Saturday, November 14th from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Meet at the San Ysidro trolley station at 11 a.m. in front of McDonald’s and we will cross together to get transportation.

We will head to Mamut Brewery Co. for the discussion and then grab tacos at a couple of nearby stands.

COST: $10 NAHJ members, $5 students  (cost will cover transportation)

BRING: Passport, cash (small bills) for food.
